Summer!

I'm too lazy to really post all the loads of stuff I did this semester, so I'll post a quick photo I took when I was painting... from 2 months ago ^^; It's just gouache, which I can't get used to the opacity with.



Hopefully this summer will be productive! I started a daily sketchbook on conceptart.org, which will track my progress. My username is cierion.

Game Assets - Final Concepts 1

We have a group project for our final in Game Assets, and this was concept art for my part for the first idea we had. It totally got scrapped though ;n; The idea was something of simple forest animals to choose from and grow to live first, then gain knowledge, and gain alliances to influence other animals in the environment. The cool gadgets would be woodpunk 8D
This is from 2 or 3 weeks ago... All my other things are traditional and I'm too lazy to take photos = A=

More WIPs

Here's a jungle dude and environment studies I did tonight... Though I wasted a lot of time trying to do a cartoon style, which looked weird with my painterly style...

Game Assets - wk 2-3

So here's the second project in the class we've been working on.
The first image was the 2nd week, create a simple character in Maya. Most people ended choosing animals... The topography totally got screwed up when I started merging the parts together, and I didn't save because I didn't realize when I was working >__<
Then we brought the model into zbrush to add details, image on right. Too bad my character doesn't have a lot of texture, which is great for zbrush. Also I'm still trying to figure out the rendering, colors, and material stuff :/

Monster Week 2

I did this piece for my Monster class today, it's about 75% done.



Just gonna say I got a pretty bad crit on this even though everyone else's pretty much sucked in the class.

A New Start

Hey guys~ I forgot I had a blog here, and thought this semester would be a good chance to post some school stuff and in progress images since I won't have much time for more personal random drawings.

So here's a quick WIP of something I started on the first week of school... Wonder when I'll finish it with 4 studios :(
